Quick Apply Part-time 9 hours ago Full Job Description Five Star Home Hospice is an established hospice agency in Pasadena, CA that serves the entire Los Angeles County.
We are seeking an RN who wants to earn supplemental income by visiting patients for our agency.
Visits may range from Start of Care Admission visits to routine Supervisory and follow up nursing visits.
RN will need to drive to and from patient's homes and assess their condition, manage patient pain and symptoms, obtain new orders as needed from hospice MD, and do the necessary family and caregiver teachings.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is seeking supplemental income with a very flexible schedule.
We will provide a full paid training for all applicants.
Visiting/Field Hospice RN An RN who has a caring and positive attitude.
The applicant must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the state of California.
The individual must be organized and able to work independently.
Clinical and hospice/home health experience is a definite plus, although not required.
Responsibilities:
-Communicate hospice philosophy and benefit to patients and families -Visit patients in home setting and identify their needs -Develop a patient specific Plan of Care in conjunction with hospice physician -Communicate findings to the hospice team (MD, RN Case Managers, etc)
Qualifications:
-Active RN license in good standing with the state of California -A compassionate, caring, and positive attitude - Computer Literate - Ability to build rapport with patients - Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Job Type:
