Job Overview:
Cleans and maintains assigned areas of the hospital in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition.
This position provides services necessary to prevent cross-contamination and the spread of infection between patients, visitors, and staff.
This position is per diem, non-exempt and health insurance eligible.
The pay range for this position is $19.
20-$28.
80/hourly.
Compensation is determined based on relevant experience and department equity.
Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of activities to clean assigned areas in patient rooms, operating rooms, pre-op/recovery rooms, and/or common areas of the hospital, according to established procedures Completes assignments in an efficient manner while maintaining a high standard of work, ensuring the established guidelines and practices are met Utilizes proper knowledge of safety, hospital codes and infection control measures according to established departmental guidelines This is not an all-inclusive list of this job's responsibilities.
The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
