We are looking for an Activity Assistant! General Description:
Assists in planning and conducting activities designed to meet the varied needs and interest of the residents.
Duties:
Assist in organizing and conducting all planned activities to assure the activities meet the needs of the residents assuring that all posted activities occur on time and as posted.
Interacts with residents and assists activity department staff to promote activities, explains activities and programs to residents and families.
Assists with making flyers and other announcements to assure all residents are informed of upcoming events and programs.
Assist in coordinating social events and entertainment within the community.
Distributes calendars and newsletters to residents and families.
Reports any observations concerning residents, families or visitors to the Activities Director.
Attends and participates in committees, training programs and staff meetings.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Ability and Experience requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have criminal record clearance.
Must be able to manage multiple tasks.
Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and most holidays.
Must be able to operate a variety of audiovisual, craft, and recreational equipment and tools.
Must be able to communicate professionally and appropriately with residents and their families or other guests.
High School diploma is preferred 1 year:
Activity Assistant experience Assists in planning and conducting activities designed to meet the varied needs and interest of the residents.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
