Summary:
As a Scheduling Manager, you will report to the Senior Director of Staffing and Analysis for one of Inter-Con Security's account portfolios.
Our growing and dynamic team is focused on supporting the scheduling operations for Inter-Con's most important resources:
our security officers.

Duties/
Responsibilities:
Manage and take ownership of Optimized Coverage Plans for a portfolio of contracts, including ensuring fidelity via regular audits to ensure that any on the ground changes are reflected in the OCP.
Ensure requisition requests in Salesforce match up with openings in OCP.
Submit new hire requisitions based on attendance data and any openings in OCP.
Regularly audit DoL status, assigned locations, and contact qualifications of officers.
Provide insight to contract leadership on any adjustments that may be needed.
Take ownership of new hire scheduling for assigned portfolio.
Manage requisition to schedule pipeline for assigned contracts and ensure that new hires are scheduled as quickly as possible.
Control for any OT that may have been generated during the dispatch process.
Utilize resources to cover any openings in the schedule more than 96 hours out.
Ensure timely response to various scheduling cases generated for account portfolio.
Provide frequent updates to the Senior Director of Staffing and Analysis of potential issues regarding scheduled hours, staffing deficiencies, and client requests.
Develop and implement scheduling plans for new contract transitions in your portfolio.
Leverage available systems to optimize scheduling and reduce operational costs.
Requirements for Success in this Role:
Ensure OCP is frequently audited using available data in Salesforce.
Schedules should publish accurately with little to no mistakes.
Work to ensure contracts hit stated OT goals by creatively planning schedules and working to clean any OT that may have been generated by dispatch.
Maintain stated goals for published schedule staffing percentage.
Work to build strong relationships with counterparts in Recruiting and Operations.
Know what is happening with resources on the contract.
Understand officer utilization statistics, contract adds, and contract drops.
Tightly manage requisition to schedule pipeline.
Ensure that all new hires are scheduled without delay and that requisitions and staffing notes are kept updated.
Potential Causes of Failure in this Role:
Missing stated targets and goals for future scheduling by being drawn into fire fighting on dispatch.
It is critical that the team is focused on goals they are to be held accountable to.
Missing opportunities to raise potential flags regarding your ability to meet your goals.
If you think you will not be able to meet your goal for some reason, it is critical to flag that reason immediately and work to create a plan to bridge any gap that may exist.
Allowing new hires to remain unscheduled.
Taking ownership of the requisition to schedule pipeline is a fundamental responsibility of this position.
It's critical that new hires are scheduled or staffing notes are updated with any reasons as to why they might not be schedule.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Additionally, the position requires near and far vision in reading correspondence and using the computer, and acute hearing when providing phone and counter service to the public.
Required Skills/Abilities:
