Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Office Manager to oversee our office in Pasadena.
This location is set to reopen in the next month, and the Office Manager will play a crucial role in planning and executing the necessary steps before welcoming back our onsite employees.
We do not provide work visa sponsorship.
This position will be contract to hire.
Required Skills/
Experience:
Proven office management, administrative, or assistant experience.
Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems, and procedures.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities:
Ensure office efficiency by maintaining common areas, organizing procedures, handling correspondence, managing file systems, and overseeing supplies and equipment.
Partner with HR to maintain office policies as necessary.
Lead in-office team building activities and events.
Coordinate shipping and receiving of design samples.
Oversee day-to-day office activities as main point of contact in office.
Provide direct administrative support as needed, including scheduling appointments, meetings, events, booking travel, and coordinating lunch/catering.
Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and landlord.
Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment.
