POSITION SUMMARY As a Lab Assistant, you will be part of a team that strives to uphold Unio Health Partners' mission to provide the highest level of care.
You will be responsible for providing day-to-day administrative and clinical support to the laboratory.
This position goes above and beyond to keep the lab running efficiently and effectively.
What you will be doing Separates, prints, reviewing, faxes, and uploads to the different EHR systems Specimen digital logs (FISH log/Histo log/Cyto log/PCR log) updated daily Answer Lab telephone/Customer service Assists in maintaining lab supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting order for supplies; verifying receipt supplies Assists in resolving problems by consulting with pathologist, technical staff, and Director of Laboratory Operations What you will bring to the team Strong organizational and time management skills and meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
