About Pasadena Village Pasadena Village is an intentional community of older adults who are aging-in-place in their own homes.
In addition to coordinating over 60 small group gatherings every month, 170
Villagers support each other and share resource connections.
Pasadena Village is the only nonprofit organization in the area dedicated to helping older adults age-in-place.

Schedule ? 18 hours/week ? Partial Remote:
Onsite work 4-8 hours/week at the Pasadena Village Office, 236 W.
Mountain St, #104, Pasadena, CA 91103; Remote work 10-14 hours/week in CA ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES You will work with Pasadena Village and the Executive Director to:
? Raise funds to support aging-in-place older adults ? Articulate the critical needs of the aging population ? Garner support for programs which allow older adults to support each other, fully engage in the community, and maintain their inter-dependence ? Support the mission of Pasadena Village to foster vital independent living Foundations & Other Grant Funding ? Track relationships, deadlines, and deliverables for 20
private, community, and government funders ? Research potential funding opportunities ? Craft articulate proposal narratives ? Manage proposal process; input accurate and succinct information Business Partnerships ? Track relationships and payment schedules with 20
local businesses ? Review Business Partner benefits annually ? Work with Executive Director and Communication & Admin Coordinator to fulfill benefits and add value Individual Donors ? Draft Spring and Winter appeal letters ? Coordinate with Communication & Admin Coordinator to thank donors promptly ? With Communication & Admin Coordinator, track accurate donor records Events & Other Corporate Sponsorships ? Work onsite during annual fundraising event each Fall ? Create sponsorship materials with the Executive Director and track sponsors for annual fundraising event ? Attract, track, and retain corporate sponsors for 2 annual resource fairs with the Executive Director ? Plan for upcoming events with fellow staff Reporting ? Create accurate and clear funding reports for Development Committee and Board of Directors ? Track monthly statistical information with fellow staff ? Provide accurate data for Annual Report and work with Communication & Admin Coordinator to produce report ? Draft program reports for funders; track reporting deadlines Qualifications ? Precise and articulate written and verbal communication ? Well-organized and detail-oriented ? Excellent time-management skills ? Empathy and ability to engage well with donors, volunteers, and fellow staff ? 2
years working with a nonprofit organization ? Experience writing proposals ? Willingness to learn new skills ? Computer Skills:
fluency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive), Microsoft (Excel and Word), and Zoom ? Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience ? Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 ? The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
