Primary
Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of in-person customer service functions related to financial products such as deposits, loans, mobile banking, etc.
Provide information and recommendations for all Credit Union services, processing new Credit Union memberships and additional products such as IRAs, checking accounts, debit & VISA cards, loans, certificates of deposit, ATM cards, etc.
Accept and review member loan applications for completeness.
Develop and retain relationships with existing and prospective Credit Union members, identifying financial needs and cross-selling appropriate services.
Generate new business through outbound calling.
Focus on the customer experience and deliver exceptional service with a professional and friendly approach.
Qualifications:
At least two (2) years' experience in the new accounts/customer service area of a bank or credit union.
Successful sales track record in a financial institution, with ability to identify clients' needs and offer the right solution.
Must be a self-motivated individual who is skilled in rapport-building and genuinely enjoys helping people.
Experience in business banking is a plus.
Ability to sell deposit and loan products.
Familiarity with financial institution rules and regulations.
Accurate and detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communications.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn computer programs and software.
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work with minimal supervision.
