Senior Business Systems Analyst

OverviewThe Senior Business Systems Analyst will provide information technology business analysis and quality assurance manager services for CIT Bank s digital banking platforms and applications.
The successful candidate will play a key role in acting as the technological/support liaison between the Consumer Banking technology group, internal stakeholders, and application service providers (ASP), enabling CIT s Retail Banking team to deliver exceptional user experience to its customers.
The position will oversee quality assurance, lead agile grooming sessions on assigned topics, and support the digital banking origination and servicing channels.
The project management, technical documentation on the various initiatives will be an additional responsibility.
ResponsibilitiesIdentifying Requirements - Determines system requirements and communicates them using specifications, reports, project plans, or other forms of documentation.
Determines and resolves complex factors that affect system processes.
Ensures compliance through monitoring and analysis.
Perform business process analysis, consumer journey analysis for novel solutions, as well as changes to existing solutions and processes.
Quality Assurance management - Define, implement, and maintain quality assurance methodologies and processes in line with the organization SDLC standards.
Along with your team, evaluate proposed software changes and what their impact may be on performance, scalability, and reliability.
Engage with Quality Assurance Engineers to provide guidance, mentoring, and training on how to be a more effective and efficient.
Partner with the project team(s) to collect the data for the identified metrics per project's defined process and provide analysis of those metrics.
Ensure that performance and scalability is an integral component of all test strategies and project plans.
Ensuring all components of the software applications and systems for the project are properly documented for each release.
Working in an Agile environment, you will be performing multiple software quality assurance tasks.
Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data.
Performs data analysis at the most advanced level, effectively communicating and directing analysis output.
May manage special projects or direct the analytics efforts of the work group.
Reporting - Enables strategic insight into business systems through reports to senior management.
Evaluates systems based on data analysis, user input, and extensive testing.
Conveys patterns, problems, and areas of improvement, and develops process enhancements based on results.
System Support - Provides expert technical support for systems by responding to inquiries, ensuring processes run smoothly, and working to continuously improve the end-user experience.
Handles escalated and complex support issues.
Develops and implements modifications and enhancements.
Serves as an analytics resource to wider organization or business units, offering expertise on systems and data output.
Be an effective liaison between the technology service providers and the digital banking team for project delivery processes.
Collaborate with various consumer banking lines of business including digital banking, branch banking, operations, contact center, as well as peer technology groups.
Active engage in the implementation of technology strategic planning initiatives that support retail banking applications, including new consumer products and/or improvements over existing products.
Project Management and reporting of consumer banking initiatives using major SDLC methodologies such as agile, waterfall, and scrum is a big plus.
Maintain knowledge base including but not limited to, architecture, configuration, and other software artifacts such as release notes.
Escalate vendor support issues to senior management; identify problems and improve support service levels.
Perform other duties as required.
The base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is generally $112,909 to $195,710 per year.
This position is eligible for variable compensation, which may be in the form of incentive, bonus, or commission pay.

QualificationsBachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational Support OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational SupportStrong knowledge of Online/Mobile Banking applications and other digital technologies including online account opening, payment functions, and branch processes which is necessary.
Good understanding of digital technologies, information security, cloud architecture, networks, and application architecture types.
General understanding of the consumer banking processes, core banking, card/ATM systems, and payment networks (Wire, ACH, digital, checks etc.
)Awareness of related corporate functions including accounting, treasury, compliance, risk, data security, and fraud managementGeneral awareness on UX flow & development, web-based technologies, and Apple/Android mobile application environments, amongst others.
Must have experience with database technology (SQL), lifecycle management tools (Azure DevOps, JIRA, ALM), quality assurance tools (Selenium), UI testing tools (BrowserStack).
Experience managing business application SLAs, disaster recovery, and risk management processes.
Possess familiarity with applicable regulatory policies including BSA/AML, Privacy, and PCI compliance, etc.
Advanced MS Excel skills and ability to work with large set of data.
Remain current with technology architecture and various system components for digital platforms, including all interfaces and dataflow to vendor components, as well as to the Core.
Familiar with latest product/technology offerings in the marketplace and emerging trends.
Additional SkillsReporting skills along with experience working with Power BI, Tableau etc.
is preferred.
Experience with API and Performance testing tools is a big plus.
Experience in resolving and working through escalated and complex customer issues.
Solid Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Solution design, UML, and architecture definition using MS VisioExperience with MS Project, and MS SharePoint is a plusExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to handle information professionally and confidentially.
Must have ability to build relationships cross-functionally.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster.
